First Saturday bird walk

This is our first Saturday of the month bird walk! We take a break after this month and don’t host walks in July or August due to heat. So, come join us for this final bird walk of the season. We return in September. This walk is for birders of all levels. We will walk Horn Rapids County Park along the Yakima River. We hope to see common nighthawk, and other later migrants, as well as wood ducks, Osprey, and other water birds along the River! This walk will be led by Sheri Whitfield, biologist of the Mid-Columbia National Wildlife Refuge.
Meet at the parking area toward the boat ramp ( not at the boat ramp)!
