Local Participation
What is it?
Tri-City residents can have an active involvement in decision-making, projects, and initiatives that shape their communities. This includes attending public meetings, voting, volunteering, and collaborating on local policies and sustainability efforts. Strong local participation fosters a sense of ownership, strengthens community bonds, and ensures that development aligns with the needs and values of the people it serves. The organizations educate and promote local participation in many areas.
