At 9:30, we will have an informative lecture on gardening with native plants from by local designer, Ann Autrey. Autrey owns and operates a native plant nursery, Tapteal Native Plants, in West Richland, Washington. Her passion to create landscapes for wildlife, pollinators, and humans has given her the opportunity to design over 200 native plant gardens. Following the lecture, there will be an opportunity to join a guided wildflower hike to the Twin Sisters area. As always, visitors who don’t go on the will be welcome to tour our pollinator garden and hike the Quail Trail at McNary Headquarters in Burbank.
There will be no other planned activities in the building, but we have wonderful displays of a great variety of local species that will be available.
