KPD Drug Take Back April 2025

DRUG TAKE BACK APRIL 26TH AT KPD 10AM – 2PM: The #DEATakeBack event offers free and anonymous disposal of unneeded medications. Don’t be surprised by what is in your medicine cabinet. If you haven’t used them, don’t need them, or they’re expired, drop them off at a #TakeBackDay at the Kennewick Police Department on Saturday, April 26th, 10AM-2PM.

ITEMS ACCPETED:

-All medications / narcotics not being used that you would like to dispose of.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
-Illicit substances such as marijuana or methamphetamine are not part of this initiative and should not be placed in collection containers.
-Intra-venous solutions, injectables, inhalers, syringes, chemotherapy medications, vaping devices that have batteries that cannot be removed, or medical waste WILL NOT be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens
-Thermometers (Mercury)
-Oxygen Containers
-Pressurized Canisters
