Farmers Markets
What is it?
Farmers markets support local agriculture, reduce the environmental impact of transporting food, and promote healthier eating. They provide a direct connection between farmers and consumers, encouraging the purchase of fresh, seasonal, and locally grown produce. This strengthens the local economy, reduces packaging waste, and fosters community relationships, all while promoting a more sustainable food system.
